StarFire 300- Is a WAAS signal with a pass to pass accuracy of 13 inches.  This receiver is capable of running such programs as parallel tracking or manual guidance, Field Doc, Harvest Doc, and Map based prescriptions.  The StarFire 300 can either be shroud mounted or by a magnetic base.

StarFire iTC- The StarFire iTC is capable of receiving three correction signals: StarFire 1, StarFire 2, and Real Time Kinematics.  This receiver has built in terrain compensation which is a must for AutoTrac.  One receiver is capable of receiving all three signals so the signal can be upgraded without having to buy a new receiver.

Integrated AutoTrac uses hydraulic valves to control the steering of the vehicle with the help of the StarFire receiver and AutoTrac software.   Integrated AutoTrac is available for factory installation on all 6x30, 7x30, 8x30, 9x30 tractors, 4x30 sprayers, 9x70 combines, and 7x50 forage harvesters.  The integrated kit can also be installed by a John Deere dealer on other models.  See dealership for details.

Universal AutoTrac is capable of being used on over 450 different platforms both John Deere and many other brands.  This system can be moved between vehicles very easily which allows the owner to get the most out of their AutoTrac system.  AutoTrac Universal is capable with all levels of signal accuracy.

RowSense is John Deere’s hands free steering system for harvesting corn.  The system works by using a mechanical feeler to sense where the crop is entering the corn head it then relays these messages to the combine to correct the steering of the combine utilizing the integrated AutoTrac on the combine.

iTEC PRO or intelligent total equipment control automates all functions of the tractor.  This system is capable on all 8x30 and 9x30 tractors.  iTEC PRO performs all the functions that the operator assigned the tractor to do at the ends of the field and also turns the tractor around to face its next pass through the field.  For example:  as the tractor reaches the end of the field it has the capability to change speeds, run all selective control valves, turn on or off differential lock, raise or lower three point, and turn on or off the MFWD all automatically.  It will also reverse the functions to continue on the next pass to the other end of the field.

GreenStar 2 1800 has a 7 inch color screen.  This display is capable of operating such things as: Autotrac, Field Doc, Harvest Doc, Swath Control Pro, Pivot Pro, and Parallel Tracking or manual guidance.  The 1800 has a built in touch pad which controls the functions of the display.

GreenStar Lightbar is outfitted with 27 LED lights that help the operator manually steer the machine across the field.  By using a GPS receiver the lightbar will indicate how far off track the vehicle is and it is up to the operator to correct.  The lightbar can be used as a stand-alone unit or can be used with an original GreenStar display, Greenster 2 1800 and 2600.

GreenStar 2 2600 features a 10.4 inch color touch screen display.  This display is capable of running such programs as all AutoTrac signal levels, FieldDod, HarvestDoc, iTEC, RowSense, Swath Control Pro, on screen mapping, and parallel tracking or manual guidance.

Original GreenStar Display and Mobile Processor is an entry level display.  This display has a black and white screen and utilizes push buttons on the side of the display to run the functions of the display.

Swath Control Pro turns on and off individuals sections of an implement based on GPS coverage to eliminate overlap in headlands and odd shaped fields.  Swath Control Pro works with the John Deere GreenStar 2 Rate Controller.

GreenStar 2 Rate Controller controls the rate of the product being applied whether it is seed, fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia, or chemicals.  The Rate Controller will achieve and maintain the desired rate across the field.

Apex Farm Management Software is John Deere’s desktop software for your home computer.  This software allows you to print and view maps of different operations of your field.  Apex allows you to look at records from year to year to help you make important management decisions.

I Guide

An iGuide activation is the software required along with AutoTrac to operate passive implement guidance.

It can operate using the following systems:

Display

GreenStar™ 2 2600

Receiver

StarFire™ iTC

Steering kit

Integrated

This passive implement guidance system automatically guides the implement onto the guidance line. Passive implement guidance means there are not steering components on the implement like you would find with an active implement guidance system; instead, the tractor compensates for implement inaccuracies by pulling the implement onto the correct path. Therefore, the implement will be on the guidance line, but the tractor may not.

I -Steer

The iSteer system automatically steers the implement to the guidance line by providing GPS correction to the implement steering mechanism. Active implement guidance means both the tractor and implement are operating on the guidance line.

It can operate using the following GreenStar™ components:
Display GreenStar 2 2600
Tractor & implement receiver StarFire™ iTC equipped with RTK radio and activation
Tractor steering kit Integrated
Implement steering kit Third-party system  (not supplied by John Deere)

An iSteer Controller needs to be installed on the vehicle as well as an AutoTrac activation on the GreenStar 2 2600 Display in order to operate active implement guidance
